TITANS season 2 is still underway and has a few more episodes to go, but DC Universe has announced that TITANS Season 3 has been greenlit. The flagship and inaugural series will drop sometime in the Fall of 2020. This may come to a shock as the DC streaming service appears to be on its last legs with some speculating that it may be absorbed by HBO Max platform in the future.

No matter what service the show will be on, the series will continue to follow the TITANS adventures. It has been hinted that Dick Grayson will soon suit up as the much anticipated Nightwing in this current season. This would hopefully make Nightwing the new leader of a new TITANS team going into Season 3.

The series has a lot of storylines floating around and most will most likely not be resolved in this current season. It would great if the seeds for a Judas Contract storyline be planted now for maybe a season 6 or 7 with the overarching villain each season being Death Stroke. Other DC villains can make an appearance and show up, but having an episode each season with Death Stroke reminding the TITANS he is still out there would be a good way to set up the rest of the series.

If the show can last for 6 or 7 seasons, it would be great for the final season to have the TITANS finally come together to take down Death Stroke. It is not often anymore that a series follows a main protagonist over the course of multiple seasons. TITANS could utilize this format much in the same way the BBC Series Sherlock did with Moriarty.

Who knows what Season 3 and the future holds for the TITANS but it is a breath of fresh air to know that we will at least be getting one more season of the show.
