The Mandalorian is a show on the streaming service Disney+. The show is currently in its second season on the streaming service. I know that Star Wars has been letting fans down with the most recent movies but this show really takes you back to the Clone Wars and Original Trilogy.

This weeks episode really takes you back to the clone wars in style. Ahsoka Tano made her first live action appearance to my knowledge in this week’s episode. Portrayed by Rosario Dawson on screen. I know Ahsoka has a huge story from the Clone Wars cartoon going from Anakin Skywalkers Padawan to eventually being kicked out of the Jedi order. Which is all well and good I’ve never really seen the cartoons, but this appearance gives us hope that more Star Wars live action series will happen.

Ahsoka up to this point is trying to help free a village of people from their masters. She is also in search of a part of her past. As you may know the show takes place after the Rebellion destroys the second death star and the fall of the Empire. So Ahsoka seems to be searching for pieces of the Empire that remain.

I won’t go into huge detail about what she’s doing because it gives away any potential storyline set up for her. Also during this episode “The Child” has a name reveal. So go check it out because I won’t be spoiling it here!

The Mandalorian is a great show. Jon Favreau is doing great things. I feel as though as the show continues that spark that made the original trilogy of star wars special will remain. There has really been a throw back to those movies. As a fan of Star Wars those are the films I grew up watching and the ones I enjoy most.

I just hope that this universe can keep expanding and fill the gaps in the time line. I want to see the rise of the first order, and all of that and I think this is the best way to cover all of that.
