Marvel recently announced dates for some of its upcoming MCU films. The dates released do not give any more detail on which films will be released when, and in instead lists them all as Untitled. There is much speculation on what movies will be released when, but Marvel is most likely not going to confirm anything until after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home and/or at the International Comic-Con in San Diego. The dates for the upcoming movies are as follows:

  • May 1st, 2020
  • November 6th, 2020
  • February 12th, 2021
  • May 7th, 2021
  • November 5th, 2021
  • February 18th, 2022
  • May 6th, 2022
  • July 29th, 2022

Again, while no movies are officially announced for what dates, Marvel does currently have a few projects in the works. Some upcoming MCU movies that are due our are Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Black Widow prequel, Black Panther 2, and Dr. Strange 2. With James Gunn still working on the DC Suicide Squad movie, fans can probably expect the next Guardians movie closer to 2021 or 2022. Black Panther is said to be released again in February which makes the 2021 date perfect for that sequel. That leaves the 2020 dates open for Dr. Strange 2 and the Black Widow prequel.

Also announced by Marvel is the Eternals movie and a Shang-Chi movie. Since these were announced a little later it makes sense these would probably being the 2021 time frame. It would also make sense that Marvel will want to capitalize on another Avengers crossover and that could easily be the May 6th, 2022 movie with the prior movies setting up for it.

Everything Marvel is working on is still up in the air and things can change in a snap. It is anyone’s guess on what will be released when and speculating is all fans go do until Marvel gives more information.
