The DC Universe now has 2 live action shows, Doom Patrol and Titans, as well as a new season of Young Justice. As of Doom Patrol Episode one, there may be a weird connection to all these shows. It becomes more evident looking at how the shows are released too. Let’s take a look at this DC Universe: Timeline Theory.

DC Universe
TITANS
At the end of Season 1 of TITANS we are introduced to Cadmus and get our first look at Connor Kent/Superboy. Then if you go back in time to Young Justice Season 1 we start that off with Cadmus and the introduction of Connor Kent. Did Titans ending setup Season 1 of Young Justice? Maybe.
Young Justice
Young Justice’s storyline then continues through the first installment of Season 3 (as it’s broken up into 2 parts). Towards the end of “Season 3 Part 1,” the viewer gets introduced to Victor Stone/Cyborg . Cyborg is even given a new backstory different from his original. After Season 3 Part 1 ends, Doom Patrol starts. Could this new Victor Stone/Cyborg be the same one we get in Doom Patrol Season 1? Maybe.
Doom Patrol
Before Doom Patrol even started, fans knew that Cyborg was going to be a big part of the show as he was in the marketing ads for it. Victor has never been part of the Doom Patrol so why add him? In Young Justice it appeared that Victor didn’t care to stay too long with that group and it was mentioned a few times that he was only to be there temporarily. If that is the case, could he have possibly found his way to the Doom Patrol? hmm.
If Cyborg on Doom Patrol has the same backstory as the character from Young Justice, it’s is a safe bet that all these stories are interlaced. Cyborg will then move from Doom Patrol to the Titans team in Titans Season 2 giving us the classic Titans line up. While there are some falters in this theory, it would be really neat to have animated and live action shows be connected.
This theory also ensures viewers watch all the shows to get full backstories for other characters. For instance, Dick never became Nightwing on Titans. Young Justice would give the fans insight into how he becomes Nightwing. This would allow Dick to be Nightwing at the start of TITANS season 2.
Maybe Swamp Thing, Star Girl, and Harley Quinn will be tied in too.
