With Sony pulling out and Nintendo having a large lineup to be shown off at this year’s convention; they are easily set to be this year’s top dog. The company has a lot of great stuff coming out for the Switch and E3 looks to be the stage that Nintendo will drop all the big announcements.
Just take a look at the games that Nintendo has in the works that fans could easily get some hands-on play, announcements, or release dates about. The list is enough to get gamers screaming with excitement:
- Super Mario Maker 2
- Metroid Prime 4
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- Pokemon: Sword and Shield
- Animal Crossing 2019
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
- Astral Chain
- Daemon X Machina
- Bayonetta 3
- DLC Packs for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate(?)
- Pikmin 4(?)
If that list above does not get you excited for these games at E3 then can you really consider yourself a Nintendo fan? Metroid Prime 4, Animal Crossing, and Luigi’s Manson 3 alone is enough to get any Nintendo fanboy balling with excitement and suspense. While we do not know if any/all of these games will get some/any love at E3, I will bet my bottom dollar we will at least get to see 4 from this list. I also expect Nintendo to drop the mic with some surprises that fans aren’t expecting.
Not only will Nintendo be announcing some games at E3 they also have the following events going on:
- Splatoon World Championship
- Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational
- Super Smash Brothers Ultimate World Championship 2019
If your as excited as we are for all the Nintendo stuff, then you only have a little over a week to wait as it all starts on June 11th and will continue until June 13.
